Ageless Beauty Marvel-Mini Rejuvenating Facial Light Therapy Blue
The marvel mini blue has made a tremendous difference in my acne. I gave it to my daughter because it is safe and I don’t want her using chemicals on her face. The little acne that was beginning to take hold of her is now gone thanks to a few sessions a week. She is thrilled and she dances around with it because it looks like a funky blue microphone! If you are suffering from acne and using harsh chemicals on your face, give your skin a rest. Stop using the chemicals and go get this little beauty today! I smack my forehead every day when I think of how long I suffered before getting the mini. Get one for yourself, you won’t be sorry. Thanks for listening to me, that’s all for now. Marvel Mini Blue - How Does It Work?

I have been asked by many readers to tell them how this device helps with acne. I searched all over for some answers and found this explanation on the manufacturer’s website:
“The FDA recently approved narrow-band, high-intensity Blue Light for treating acne. It is probably the best-known light therapy for acne treatment and Blue Light treatments can be performed on any area of the body. During treatment, precise wavelengths of light energy are selectively delivered through a handheld wand containing several LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) to the targeted area. Once delivered, this light energy is absorbed by the targeted bacteria that produces the inflammation associated with acne known as Propionobacterium Acnes, or “P. acnes”. P. acnes releases porphyrins, which are naturally occurring molecules in the body. When porphyrins absorb certain wavelengths of light, free radical damage is produced which destroys the bacteria. Without P. acnes around to cause inflammation, acne clears up. Porphyrins have been shown to absorb light best in the blue wavelength range (400 nm to 430 nm). This blue light output is a different wavelength than skin-damaging ultraviolet light, and has not been proven to cause side effects including dryness, redness or pain.”
Well, that’s the skinny right from the horses mouth. I just know it works and that’s good enough for me.
